The BTL Exilite system uses broad-spectrum light and precision filters to deliver targeted energy to the treatment area. The light energy is absorbed by specific chromophores in the skin, such as melanin (for pigmentation) or haemoglobin (for vascular issues), heating and breaking down problem cells without damaging surrounding tissue.

For hair removal, the IPL technology emits pulses of light absorbed by active hair follicles, effectively disabling them for long-term reduction.
